IU-OSU Coordination Center

The IU-OSU MPRINT DMKRCC (Data and Model Knowledge and Research Coordination Center) is co-directed by Sara K. Quinney, PharmD, PhD, Associate Professor of OB/GYN and Medicine (Clinical Pharmacology), Indiana University School of Medicine, and Lang Li, PhD, Professor and Chair, Department of Biomedical Informatics, College of Medicine, The Ohio State University.

Together, we’re supporting, coordinating, and expanding research relating to maternal and pediatric therapeutics within the MPRINT Hub and partner organizations.

The IU-OSU DMKRCC is composed of five cores:

  1. Logistics Core, led by Drs. Sara Quinney and Lang Li, provides overall logistic support and administrative coordination of the MPRINT Hub.

The Logistics Core facilitates interactions among MPRINT Hub members and partners to promote and support multidisciplinary research efforts in maternal and pediatric therapeutics.
  2. Outreach Core is led by Dr. Sara Quinney and serves as a conduit between the MPRINT Hub and the broader scientific community.

The Outreach Core will facilitate interactions with external partners to enhance knowledge, research, and educational efforts in maternal and pediatric therapeutics.
  3. Knowledgebase & Portal Core led by Dr. Lang Li at The Ohio State University will develop a knowledgebase of data and resources relating to maternal and pediatric therapeutics, including pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, pharmacogenetics, pediatric ontogeny and the physiological changes that occur with and around pregnancy and lactation.

The Knowledgebase & Portal Core will develop common data elements and ontologies for annotating these data; develop text classification algorithms to identify relevant published literature; and integrate various data sources into an accessible web portal.
