Torri Metz, MD,MS

About Torri Metz

She is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Maternal-Fetal Medicine subspecialist, and Vice Chair of Research of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah Hospital. Dr. Metz’s clinical interests include the treatment and management of women with chronic medical conditions complicating pregnancy.

As a clinical researcher, Dr. Metz’s focus has been on SARS-CoV-2 infection in pregnancy and the impact it has on maternal and fetal health. Other areas of interest include marijuana use in pregnancy and its effect on the mother and newborn, maternal congenital heart disease, and factors influencing mode of delivery.
